1. Introduction

Ridiculously Good Looking Co. (“RGL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Lead Rescue, a lead capture and response system offered to local service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you interact with our websites, products, forms, widgets, and text-message communications (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services — including submitting a contact form or consenting to receive text messages from us or from a business using Lead Rescue — you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you fill out a form powered by Lead Rescue, you may provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, selected service or interest, preferred contact method, preferred callback times, booking preferences, and any message text you include.

SMS consent records. If you opt in to receive text messages, we record the date, time, form version, the exact consent language you agreed to, and your IP address — this is retained as an audit record to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier requirements.

Automatically collected information. We capture limited technical information such as the page URL the form was submitted from, the referring URL, any UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), IP address, and basic browser metadata.

Information from the business using Lead Rescue. When a business uses Lead Rescue to capture your inquiry, that business is the data controller for your submission. We process your information on their behalf to deliver the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver your inquiry to the business you contacted.
  • To send you confirmation messages, appointment-related communications, and follow-up from the business you submitted a form to.
  • To send marketing and promotional messages where you have provided consent (see “SMS Messaging” and “Marketing Communications” below).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Services.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. SMS Messaging (TCPA Notice)

If you opt in to text messages, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from Ridiculously Good Looking Co. and/or the business you submitted a form to. These messages may include:

  • Confirmation that your request was received
  • Appointment reminders, scheduling, and follow-up
  • Promotional offers, marketing communications, and service updates (where you have opted in)

Frequency. Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. Msg & data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt out. You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send you one final confirmation message. You will not receive any further messages unless you opt back in.

No purchase required. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Mobile information. Your mobile phone number and consent status are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

5. Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing emails or texts related to our Services, new features, offers, and updates from businesses you have interacted with — only where you have given consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, and from marketing texts by replying STOP.

Transactional messages — such as confirmations of a request you submitted or responses to your direct inquiry — are not marketing and may be sent regardless of marketing opt-in status.

6. How We Share Information

With the business you contacted. When you submit a form, your information is delivered to the business that owns the form.

Service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate the Services — including hosting (Vercel, Supabase), transactional email (Resend), and SMS delivery (Twilio or equivalent). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RGL, our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain lead records and consent audit records for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including TCPA record-keeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your information at any time (see “Your Rights”).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Withdraw SMS consent by replying STOP to any message or emailing us

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@goodlookingco.com. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know, right to delete, right to correct, and right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information).

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies and analytics to operate and improve the Services. UTM parameters and referring URLs are captured when you submit a form to help the business understand how you found them. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on our core Services.

10. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure data storage. No system is perfectly secure; please do not share sensitive information (such as medical history, SSNs, or payment data) through Lead Rescue forms.

11. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date and, where required by law, we will notify you directly.
